NEW TYRES

We are an independent tyre dealer. This means that we are unbiased towards a certain brand of tyre. We can source and purchase brands that we choose, and recommend a cost effective and suitable tyre to suit your needs.
As tyres wear down gradually it can be difficult to identify these changes, so we recommend that you have your tyres checked regularly or during a service.
PUNCTURE
REPAIRS

Repairing a tyre puncture is determined on a case by case basis. Tyre repair is covered by Australian Standards. Australian Standards define limits to the location, size and number of repairs that can be carried out and makes recommendations also on the repair materials to be used.
Most tyre punctures, nail holes or cuts of up to 6mm can be repaired as long as the damage is confined to the tread. Punctures greater than 6mm, or any puncture on the sidewall should not be repaired.
A tyre must also be checked thoroughly before it is repaired.
WHEEL
ALIGNMENT

Every vehicle has a specific steering track setting for its front wheels. If the setting becomes out of alignment by striking a kerb or hitting a pothole, or simply by wear and tear, tyre wear can be rapid. Incorrect wheel alignment becomes obvious when either the inner or the outer edge of the tyres become unevenly worn or a 'feathering' effect becomes noticeable.
If you suspect your wheel alignment has been disturbed - have it checked at Liebke Tyres as soon as possible. We recommend having it checked every 10,000 km's or when tyres or steering components have been changed.
